CRNOJEVIC RIVER - SKADAR LAKE - PODGORICA

The Crnojevica River is a small cozy town named after the river on which it is located. It is rightfully considered one of the most picturesque places in Montenegro. In addition to its natural beauty, the river is famous primarily for feeding the waters of the largest lake in the Balkans, and the name of the river takes us back several centuries during the reign of the legendary Ivan Crnojevic. The ancient city "Crnojevica River" got its name in honor of the Montenegrin Crnojevic dynasty, who ruled Montenegro from 1455 to 1496.

We start our trip from Budva (Becici, Rafailovici, Przno) by car, then come to the bank of the Crnojević River, transfer to a boat and go along the river towards Lake Skadar. After a boat trip and swimming in the lake, we have lunch on the bank of the river by the Old Bridge. Then we go to Podgorica on another picturesque road.

If desired, we can visit the Delta City shopping center in Podgorica or instead of Podgorica visit another ancient town on Lake Skadar - Virpazar, where there are many souvenir shops, cafes, fish restaurants.
